Jane Evans is a Senior BACP accredited counsellor and a qualified and experienced online counsellor,supervisor, and trainer, providing services to clients, counsellors, and students, since 1994, via her website www.ocst.co.uk. Jane has piloted and developed online counselling services within a variety of context, including HE and Employee Assistance programmes. In 2009 Sage published Jane’s book titled ‘Online Counselling and Guidance Skills: A Practical Resource for Trainees and Practitioners’. She has also written articles for the AUCC journal and more recently contributed chapters on the subject of counselling and online technology to revised editions of Richard Nelson-Jones counselling skills books. Jane’s hobbies and interests include walking with her dogs, gardening, and reading.
Mieke is a Dutch online counsellor and coach, concentrating on working with pain issues. She works both in English and in Dutch. Next to her online counselling work Mieke is also a tutor for OLT and offers marketing solutions for other counsellors.
In her free time she likes to travel, read and play boardgames with friends. She is also a huge doglover.
Susanne is a BACP accredited counsellor and a supervisor with experience in both face-to-face and online counselling and supervision. She works for Gamcare, a national charity for those affected by problem gambling. She set up the charity’s online counselling service in 2007. Apart from individual work with online clients, she co-facilitates a psycho-education group and supervises colleagues face-to-face and online. She is currently working on developing an online psycho-education programme for problem gamblers.
To ensure a good work-life balance, she keeps fit via aqua aerobics, boxercise and the occasional body combat session. Her hobbies include cooking, photography, writing and reading.
Suzie is a relationship counsellor, supervisor & psychosexual therapist and tutor of online counselling. She practices from her home office in beautiful Central Scotland delivering therapy both face to face & online. Suzie also volunteers for Relationships Scotland in their Glasgow office as a psychosexual therapist and is responsible for Communications via social media for the Scottish Association of Psychodynamic Counsellors where she serves on the committee.
This year Suzie has begun cycling for fun which she ties in with touring in her caravan, clocking up the miles around Scotland & England. She knits, tries to crochet & delights in being Grandma to her wonderful Grandson.
Stephanie has been a relationship counsellor and Sex Therapist since 1985, working online since 1999. She is Clinical Supervisor to Relate’s Online Service and to Relate Counsellors providing counselling to Military personnel throughout Western Europe. Stephanie has a private practice online and in Cheshire, and provides online training for Relate and her own Therapy Institute .
In 2013, Stephanie developed the only accredited Diploma course in Working with Sex Addiction.
Gill is a very experienced Relate trained counsellor who runs her own face to face and online counselling practice from her base in West Cumbria. She is also one of the team of counsellors who works for Relate’s email a counsellor service. In addition Gill is an experienced trainer and online supervisor. In her social time Gill enjoys cycling, walking in the fells and pottering around her garden.
